Post-vasectomy baby fever

Hey y’all,

My husband got a vasectomy a little over a year ago. I was incredibly depressed about it. I mourned and it felt as though our relationship took a big hit because of this. I suppose we have four options:

1) reverse vasectomy

2) IVF

3) adopt

4) ignore this baby fever (maybe a year isn’t long enough for it to pass?)

I’m leaning towards 3 for many reasons. Mostly, I just want to give love and support to a child who needs a home. Maybe fostering first is an option? Just spit balling ideas here.

Curious if anyone else has gone through post-vasectomy baby fever and what your family did as a result.
