Nipple piercings?

Question

I have been wanting my nipples done for ages but I’m so worried about the pain and the healing.
Are they actually worth it and if so what was the whole process like?
Will they also affect with breastfeeding in the future? I’m not looking to have children for at least another 10 years!

They hurt like a bitch to get done and that’s coming from someone who has 20+ piercings and multiple tattoos with no problem. I had mine over 2 years and no matter how well I took care of them (I definitely know what I’m doing) they never healed . I know multiple women with them done for even 5+ years and they still won’t heal for them . I took mine out so i can breast feed cause 1. They are a choking hazard . And 2. Taking them in and out and having them in general is putting your baby at risk of getting bacteria and infection from the piercings . I got sick of the crusties and them just not healing so i took them out and so glad I did . I’m over them

I got them summer 2014 I think & I LOVEEE THEM!!! My boobs look sooo cute with them lol... The pain is nothing from another 🌎, I think the belly ring hurts way more than nipples... Mine took about 3 to 4 months to completely heal but I used to warm water in the am and put A LOOOOT of salt and put them for at least 3 mins then dry them really good, I learned the hard way to sleep with a round neck shirt so my boobs wont come out on the sides 😂😂😂😂 & I didnt have a bf so i was good! About breast feeding, i am not really sure since i am expecting my first baby now but i dont think thwy should be a problem! 
Go for them giirrrrrllll!!! If you do what you have to do, they will heal really fast!

Almost passed out when I got mine done (not a quick piercing gun thing - slow giant needle I could feel puncturing through every layer of skin. Literal torture). Tried to change out the rings to cute ones 6 months later, gave up and then they closed overnight. I would not recommend it to anyone. I think I just had a bad experience and my body just doesn’t like piercings. 🤷‍♀️

I absolutely love mine. Got the both done years ago. Their my fav piercing. I have multiple piercings & tattoos. I even had a micro dermal piercing. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different so really depends how you handle piercings. They didn’t hurt me but my pain tolerance is pretty high. If u don’t plan to have children for 10 years you will be fine lol deff get them my husband loves them & they make my boobs look cute lol 😂

The first one didn’t hurt the second one did 😂 it’s an expectation thing. I had them for about 1.5 years but no matter how I cared for them they wouldn’t heal, crusties never left. I have had 20 piercings and this definitely hurt the most and the initial week of sore and sensitive nips was something. They’re fun but be prepared for some people they will never heal, or in my case one didn’t and the other did. So I ended taking both out.

I have mine Nd have had them for 6 years now I love them! They weren’t painful to get tbh but when healing 😪 them damn crusties use to take me out so keep them clean!!! Sea salt soaks are a life saver!! Do them a couple times a week when you get them done for faster healing. Mine have never rejected and when I was pregnant my doc said it’s safe to take in and out if you plan on breastfeeding just make sure your hands are clean. She said I probably wouldn’t want to do the work of removing and putting back in but no risk to baby as long as they are clean. (Didn’t breastfeed due to preterm birth) I plan on keeping mine when I do get pregnant again tho 🙃🙃

I got mine last year and it’s so worth it, the healing and pain isn’t even that bad.
