It’s different: books can’t really describe all the feelings you feel when your in love. It’s exciting , fun , calm, makes you extremely happy or extremely angry, scared, all of that ! And more ! I’m sure you’ll find someone some day

Personally, I married my best friend. We push each other to be better people and our personalities compliment, but aren't matchy-matchy. We get irritated sometimes, but we still choose to love each other and sleep next to each other every night. We are high school sweethearts, but some cosmic bullsh!t had to happen for our lives to line up so that we met and got together - his parents had to choose to move to Maine; his parents had to choose to move into my school district; he had to become friends with people that I had a)grown up with or b)later become friends with; we had to both be referred to joining a club; I had to have my heart broken repeatedly by a boy that was using me and would never actually love me; my parents had to have a very large fight to push me to crying in front of him and realizing just how much I had grown to trust him; I had to pressure my best friend into spilling the beans about him asking me to prom several months too early. And it hasn't always been easy since we got together - he went to college a year ahead of me, and it was really difficult for both of us. But we get through it. Together.

He makes my heart happy. There’s not enough words that I could put together to express how I feel about it. I feel constant butterflies. I get so happy and excited to see him. I think about him all the day and the thought of him makes me smile. I just want to see him prosper. I want him to be happy. I want to be by his side through everything. His smile makes me melt. His hugs and kisses give me comfort. His laugh is like the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard. God, when you hear them talk about something they love and they’re so passionate about??? 😩 Ugh. If you’ve ever eaten a sour patch kid...that is love. I’ve never wanted to strangle someone so much but kiss them till their lips fall off, sometimes both feelings at the same time, like I have now that I’m with my husband. He is my ying to the yang, peanut butter to my jelly and my absolute best friend. Love is challenging, and it can be a lot of work when things get really shitty BUT it’s rewarding and life changing when it’s YOUR person. My husband...well he’s my person in this lifetime and every one after it. ❤️
