As long as there is the ewcm that is fertile mucus. As soon as your body drops the egg, thats when you dry up and get the sticky mucus. Hope that makes sense. So until it is not sticky, BD away.

Drink lots of water before he comes home. I always got ewcm every month during ovulation. The month I conceived my son I got a positive opk but was dry. I was frustrated and used preseed that month during my fertile window and conceived my son.

I doubt it dried up in hours, chug some water! It’ll be up there but you might not be able to feel it.
