Sigh....someone needs to pry the HPTs out of my hand. 11dpo (cheap Japanese tests that read at 33miu) was BFN. Still not “out”, but I’m having trouble feeling optimistic. I swore I felt some pressure and short stabby feelings in my uterus yesterday, but I’m wondering if I’m just symptom chasing.

I’m an overachiever by nature, so I was so hoping to be one of those people who got it done the first round. Hubby on the other hand is looking forward to more of the “fun” of trying a little bit longer. I need to borrow his mentality. Lol.

I’m trying to look on the positive side that I did supposedly ovulate for the first time in ages (at 50mg) even if the progesterone was lower than optimal. My prolactin came back a wee bit elevated, too. On the bright side, this was only my first round and it seems like it might be a fairly easy fix that can likely be managed ok by my OB/GYN. I’m still awaiting whether she wants me to repeat 50mg or move to 100mg.

I am pretty thankful that my PCOS and not ovulating were identified well before TTC so we could move straight to the Clomid.
