If you knew your induction date with twins before announcing, would you still announce your EDD or your induction date?

Silly question maybe... i just feel weird saying due in september when i know my dr isnt letting me go full term. So i will be induced end of august. So do i announce sept or aug? I wont be announcing the actual date though... like aug 27th, for example lol.

Announce whatever you want. You might not make it to your induction month either. I told people my due date because that determined the babies age. I was due January 17th I had my twins December 6th

Yea I had the same issue when people would ask me when my due date was. Its technically August 7th but my dr won’t let me go past 36w6d and that’s beginning of July soo that’s what’s I’ve been telling people.

I didn’t announce my induction date because I wanted privacy and with twins it’s a toss up if you will get to have a short hospital stay or a long one. I had a long one and didn’t hold them for 2 days, so I’m glad I chose my way.

My babies were due February 17th but my doctor and I knew they'd be more likely to arrive around end of January, so that's what I communicated to everyone at work and our close friends (no specific date). I made a personal decision not to announce on social media. The babies ended up being born on December 9th.

So my technical 40 week due date would be 4/3/19. But I knew after talking to the dr that they would come around 37-38 weeks so when I announced I said our twins would be coming in March.
