Baby drinks lots of formula is it too much?

My daughter is on the large size for a five week year old. She constantly wants to eat.

She’s gaining a healthy amount of weight at the current amount we’re feeding her which is about 30/33 ounces a day. However if fed on demand she would eat 35 to 40 ounces a day.

As she will continue to eat more especially since she considers a bottle to be a cure for gas. (Once the gas is out she isn’t interested anymore.)

She was 22.5 inches and 10 1/2 lbs at her one month.

Does anyone else have a large formula fed baby and how much do they eat? How much is too much?
