Has Anyone concieved after an Ectopic pregnancy loss?

Hi Ladies,

Well I lost my one and only pregnancy in July to an ectopic pregnancy. They had to remove my falopian tube, but my ovary was left on the right side. I had just turned 40, so I know it's kinda late in life to keep trying, but I want a baby so bad. I'm just wondering if I'm just putting myself through unessary stress and mental pain by hoping and wishing for something that just isn't possible, or if there are any true possibilities of it happening? Please let me know if I need to give up the idea or keep trying. Thank you
