Has anyone with diabetes or celiac disease had trouble getting pregnant?

Hi there,
My husband and I have been together for ten years and we are trying to start a family. It’s been months with no positive test. He is type 1 diabetic and has been for about 5 years and I am celiac (gluten allergy) for about 3 years. I was wondering if anyone out there has similar issues and been successful getting pregnant? Or has it hindered you at all? Please let me know if I should proactively get us both in with our doctors to talk about this..... could this be why I can’t seem to get pregnant?

My husband is a Type 1 and we are having issues on his end. I have PCOS but found out my ovaries had no cysts and I am now consistently ovulating and having my period. 
I have encouraged my husband to get testing done to get more info about his count and motility. I am really discouraged due to the ED and not being able to BD at all or just once during my fertile window.

We’ve been ttc #1 for 15 months and I am celiac. Are you strictly gluten free? I also found out I have hypothyroidism, which hadn’t come up before (I found out I was celiac in 2007). 
Diabetes can def play a factor. 
You can both go to your pcps and have blood work done. Your husband can have a sperm analysis done with his Pcp too. Leave the gyno and fertility specialist out of the equation if it’s less than a year. If something comes up, then you can get a referral for earlier than a year.
