I would just like to vent that the head of endocrinology for the hospital in my area saw me a year before TTC and I told him I wanted my thyroid primed and ready for conception. He reviewed my numbers and said I did not need medication.

A year later I miscarried at 5-6 weeks. I went to another endo today and she said I absolutely need medication in my case.

I guarantee I lost my baby because of my thyroid and it could have been prevented. I’m trying move forward but it is killing me to know this.

To all: get your thyroid checked and get more than 1 opinion to be on the safe side!
