Yes, I felt he was the one when I first started dating him. My late mother met him before we started dating and she told me he’s a keeper and I should go after him. She was absolutely right! He said one day he was driving through my town (before we met) and said to himself, “Hey you never know. I might marry a girl from this town.” He was right! And here we are 22 years later with three beautiful children. 🥰

I first met my husband after class— it was a large lecture hall, and we were waiting in line to talk to the professor about our midterm project, and ended up talking to each other. He was cute, intelligent, and interested to hear that I owned a business (we were in business class) and seemed impressed. I left feeling really good about myself. 
We randomly met again at a contra dance that weekend, spent half the night dancing together, and exchanged phone numbers. The rest is history. 😊 That was ten years ago now!
So no, I didn’t know that I would marry him right away. But he was thoughtful and respectful and made me feel like an interesting and impressive person. I liked him right away. ❤️

I knew we were meant for each other when we both became better individually and that helped us grow even closer! I’ve had a few toxic relationships and this has never and will never compare. It was scary at first because I never thought I deserved a love or man like him!

It’s kind of weird but when my SO and I first started dating I used to be able to imagine the future with him. With all my past bfs I could imagine the future but not the way I did with my current one, idk how to explain it, it just was different like I knew I was going to be with him for a long long time

Kind of?  We met when I was 13. We were friends for years and I spend the whole time telling myself I did like him like that.  We started dating when I was 18. Didn’t want to let myself believe he was the one. We have been together 15 years.
