Hi ladies, just wanted to see what some of your experiences have been with preeclampsia in past/recent births. Im 35+1 and my bp has been so sporadic. Sometimes it’s really high and sometimes it stays good. I’ve also had a significant amount of protein in my urine since about the 30 week mark. Today I went in for a routine visit and was immediately sent to labor and delivery to be monitored because my bp was pretty high. My bp fluctuated over the following few hours but didn’t go down much and my protein was high again. They sent me home with a 24 hr urine test and I’ll now have to be seen twice a week (as opposed to once a week). My next visit is Friday. From what the doctors have told me, I don’t “officially” have preeclampsia but according to my symptoms, it’s likely that I do.

I’m wondering if they’ll just decide to induce me at the 38 week mark. I know preeclampsia is kind of unpredictable and of course I want what’s best for the baby but I would not complain if they want to induce me at 38. I’m so tired of dealing with Hyperemesis Gravidarum and just want to have my baby girl! What do you ladies think?
