My doctor didn’t check my HCG levels

Okay so i went to the doctors when i was 8 and a half weeks and they wanted me to do a urine culture and a blood test and all that before my ultra sound which is Feb 7th. I’m part of promedica and i have a Mychart, it’s where you look at your test results online, upcoming appts, etc..but they did not check my HCG levels, i thought this was weird? Everyone i know on here has been checked and even my mom who is an RN asked me and i said they never checked them and she though that was weird. Is this normal?
