He took me to look at rings 😮

So, last year in around maybe October or so, my boyfriend had slyly inquired about what style rings I like and what I don’t like. Didn’t hear much about it after, but yesterday he took me into every jewelry shop around and had me looking at rings and trying them on, seeing what I do and don’t like.

He always said he’d propose out of the country and we are supposed to be going to Japan for my birthday in May. I don’t think he has the money right at the moment for a ring, but I don’t know, maybe he’s been saving more than I thought??

Anyways, did any of yalls men ever take you to browse rings? If so, how long after did he pop the question? He kept saying “you’re gonna have to wait a while, but I need to start getting an idea of what you like.” But he also hid some messages to and from his mom about our trip because he “has a surprise for my birthday”...
