Best potty training potty?

My toddler is 18 months and soon ready to potty train. Can you give me any reccomendations and why?

I’ve never used a potty. I have a daughter and a stepson and I worked in daycare for like eight years. We get a step stool and one of those seats that goes over your toilet and has handles so their little bottom doesn’t fall in the toilet. If you get a potty, you’re going to end up cleaning and sanitizing it 20 times a day and that’s super fun after a poop. If they learn to go in the regular toilet you don’t have that problem. Plus you can take it with you when you travel and that’s much easier than dragging a potty chair with you.
Also, at 18 months you may want to really decide if your kid is ready. He might be. But to be ready to potty train, they need to be able to undress and dress themselves and physically put themselves on the toilet. They need to be able to wipe themselves - although of course you’ll be assisting to make sure they get cleaned thoroughly. They also need to be able to recognize the signs of needing to go before they go. I’ve known a lot of people who have potty trained before two and what they’ve really done is trained themselves to take their kid to the toilet every 30 minutes. Most kids aren’t ready until at least two and a half. I’m not trying to shoot down your goals but I think most people who try to potty train this early are just setting themselves up for disappointment and a whole lot of pee on the floor.

We have two for our daughter, the Summer Infant My Size Potty and the Fisher Price Learn to Potty Chair.👌🏾 Both are good potties. Our daughter is catching on really fast. I also like the fact that the Summer Infant potty resembles a real potty (besides the fact that it's pink lol). Our daughter rarely wets herself anymore and she is only 15 months. She is starting to poop in the potty as well. My parents have the Summer Infant potty at their house as well. My in-laws have one at their house, but I forgot the brand. We also go to the Infantino Up and Go Travel Potty.👍🏾

We are going to use this toilet seat. I think the little kid potties are disgusting, and I work in a daycare, so we’ve potty trained all the kids without the little toilets.

The summer infant brand “real” potty. My son caught on really quick how to use it and I think it’s because it looks exactly like a real toilet.

My kids were afraid of the toilet seat cover thing. I used a baby potty. It's summer infant. Don't get one that sings etc because  it's like a toy to them. Mine is summer infant, it's white
