My family and I live in military housing. Since Monday our entire neighborhood has been sealed off. This meaning nobody can drive in or drive out because of sinkholes at the ONLY entrance. Everyone has to park before the construction and walk to wherever they need to go or purchase a lyft. There are families walking in the dark at night trying to walk up this mountain trying to get home. This as well as mail cannot be delivered, people can’t get to work, appointments etc. There isn’t a resolution in sight indefinitely. However there is a plan to try to get some sort of temporary road by Friday night but isn’t guaranteed. This is a military town and like myself a lot of people are pregnant or on their own for whatever reason. My husband said I should complain because we should have renters rights. Is there anything we could actually made a legitimate claim against?
