Help!! When should I test??

So according to my tracking, i ovulated on 1/29 so I’m 8dpo right now. I’m scheduled to have a visit from af on 2/12 or 2/13. I’m usually super regular with maybe a day or two difference from my tracker(s). I’m not really having any symptoms other than some slight cramping/nausea but I think it might be from a medicine I take for my thyroid issues. I just saw a pregnancy announcement for a girl that was supposed to start the same day as me. When do you all suggest testing?? I’m just really really hoping for a bfp.
