Did I ovulate?

Hey is it normal to reach peak ovulation 5 days after your period? The app says my peak ovulation is the 8th so I used an ovulation strip yesterday and the it was slightly pink. I took 2 more today and the test line is getting lighter

Peak is when the test line is as dark as the control line, so I don’t think you ovulated yet. It’s normal to have some elevated LH levels when not ovulating.

I'd keep testing, but I ovulated and got that top test. If you have trouble tracking ovulation, you may want to talk to the doctor about it. Some months I wasn't ovulating strong enough to get a positive test, but enough to have a period. It took me a few months of clomid to finally get pregnant.

If you have a short cycle, then yes it’s possible. Just note: With opk’s, never use FMU (unless instructed in the instructions). Choose two times between 10 AM and 8 PM that you can test at every day at the SAME two times; and use a 4 hour pee hold each time (and do not drink a lot of water during the hold times). Once the test line is as dark as, or darker than, the control line - you have a positive. Once you get a positive, ovulation will occur within 12-36 hours; and the egg - once released - will be viable for 12-24 hours.

Yes it’s possible, this app is also just a prediction not when you actually ovulate. If you don’t actually know your cycle I’d say keep testing but you may of missed it.

No, that opk isnt positive...typically women ovulate around cycle day 14. I ovulate cycle day 17.
