Should I be worried?

My four month old son is in the 5th percentile for weight. EBF. Would you be concerned?

Was your doctor concerned? If he’s still on the same curve he’s been on before there’s usually no concern. Some babies are naturally smaller. If they drop in the percentiles then there may be some concern about their growth.

As long as they maintain their percentile it’s nothing to worry about. Apparently going up or down one is fine too. My little girl is 9th but dropped when she had a cold she’s now back up again. My HV suggested offering a bottle top up of expressed or formula after a feed as sometimes they’ll take a bit extra from a bottle. She did this for a day and then stopped! Weight was back up so worked for us. Make sure they’ve taken they’re full feed though or could affect your supply I guess.
