10wks Miscarriage

Went in for a routine, history appt. they just have detected lower hcg levels bc they gave me an ultrasound and discovered the heartbeat we hear at week 8 is no longer there. My baby no longer looked like a baby shape it had two weeks ago. My husband and I are crushed. With being far along they recommended a d&c procedure. I don’t know what to do. Either option sounds traumatic. Ugh.
