Measles
I got vaccinated as a kid. Got the mmr and all others. All the boosters and everything bc I went to public school in nyc and then college and you need to give updated vaccinations to be able to attend. Well my ob tested me for immunity to rubella and measles which is part of the mmr and I’m immune to rubella but not measles. WTF. She tested me again just to be sure and sure enough it came back non immune. So she told me I have to avoid large crowds and all people that are sick or might be sick bc guess what those non vaccinators out there brought measles outbreaks back. Thanks! So basically I can’t leave my house. How in the world can I be immune to one but not the other if they’re part of the same vaccine. Those of you against vaccinating need not comment on this post.
