Getting Medicaid Illinois

So I’m pregnant with #2. I get insurance through work, I’m a nurse. However I won’t be eligible for FMLA and I will get 0% pay while on leave. I’d also have to pay over 1200$ a month for insurance which is a no. My husband makes maybe 1800 a month so I think we’d be eligible with me not working until I go back of course. Is there a way to get it as soon as I stop working? Is it a long process? Should I wait till after I have the baby and stop working?
