Do you pump while breast feeding?

Question

While your baby nurses on one side do you go ahead and pump the other? Or do you use a Hakka to catch the milk? Nothing? 
Do you pump after breast feeds on both sides?

I pumped after she was done. I never let down on the unstimulated side

I don’t do anything. My daughter nurses on one side per feeding (except before bed) and we alternate sides for the next feeding.

I pump once in the middle of the night to store up a supply for later. I get about 5-7 Oz at that pumping so I’m saving around 40-45 Oz a week.

I don’t do anything. My LO only nurses on one side per feeding. I just keep track and use the other side the next time. The only reason I have any milk stored is because he was hospitalized and couldn’t nurse for 72 hours when he was 2 weeks old.

I do. I have the freemie cups to use with my medela pump. I pump one side while I feed on the other. It helped me to stash away 600 ounces in the freezer.
