Breech?

I keep seeing these comments talking about how women are finding out that their baby is breech... were there complications leading up to figuring this out? I'm 37 weeks and have only had 2 vaginal exams so far. Should I be concerned that I'm not receiving proper care?

I’m 37 weeks too. I have had no complications but they did notice my
Baby is breech for over a month ago now and hasn’t moved head first yet.  They tried moving him today and it didn’t work so I’m getting a c section scheduled at 39 weeks.  Maybe they don’t check until you go into labor? I have no idea

Your doc doesn’t feel your belly for baby’s position?

My doctors determine position by where they find the heartbeat, how the baby is laying in my belly (both visual and with their hands).

I'm having extra ultrasounds to check in his growth because my husband and I were both such big babies and they want to make sure he won't be as big, so that's how I found out

My OB picked it up by feeling and when she checked for the heartbeat. it was stronger higher above my belly button.

They can feel baby and position externally no need for internal

My midwife checks baby’s position by feeling my belly. I’ve actually not yet had any vaginal exams and I’m 33 weeks. I wouldn’t be concerned, but just ask next time you are seeing you’re doctor.
