Tummy time??

Question

I read that she should be able to hold her head at 45°. I feel stupid for saying this, but I don’t know what that should look like and I’m worried she’s not meeting that requirement. Does anyone have any pictures of their LOs during tummy time so I can get an idea? She’ll be 10 weeks on Monday.

She just licks her mat. Then she’ll pick her head up and turn it to the other side and keep licking. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We do tummy time on her boopy and she was 7 weeks at the time!

9 weeks old and he just started lifting his head this much while on his mat. He only stayed up for a little bit. Maybe two minutes and then went more down. For the most part it’s just spurts of looking back and forth and then back down to lick his mat some. Haha. Don’t stress about too much just yet. We do most of his tummy time on my chest and he likes that much more. Most babies hate it at first and won’t stay for very long before they start fussing. Just do a little bit a few times a day to get her used to it. I have to get down on the floor with him where he can see me for him to enjoy it at all and it still only lasts a couple of minutes.

My son is 10 weeks.. probably same birthday as your little one and he hates tummy time. He does much better if he is propped up but still doesn’t keep his head up for very long. We are having him evaluated by a neurologist for low muscle tone (although i don’t believe he actually has low muscle tone in his whole body. It appears to only affect his right arm).

Oh I'm worried she's not doing well enough... Seven weeks Sunday and this is the most she lifts while on the mat at least.
