What is this on my 7 week old daughters face? Her cheeks are super red and feel rough

My daughter had something like this but worst. It was eczema. Just put on some good creams on her that are meant for dry skin and or skin problems and sensitivities. Try to stay away from things that contain lanolin, my doctor said it can irritate the skin and not really help with dryness.

Looks like Keratosis pilaris. It’s a very common skin rash in children and babies and is also the red bumpy rash many people, not just children get on the backs of their upper arms and is also common in the upper thighs. It’s usually worse in the winter when the weather is dry. It’s harmless and occurs when the hair follicles fill up with dead skin cells and scales instead of exfoliating normally. Be sure to use a gentle wash and a soft washcloth to help gently exfoliate your baby’s skin. Also, it may help to use an exfoliating moisturizer, like Eucerin Intensive Repair Rich Lotion for Very Dry Skin (contains urea and lactic acid) or over-the-counter strength LacHydrin lotion (contains 5% lactic acid).
