hi all! what products did you use to avoid stretch marks ? did it work ? tell me all about it .. i’m looking for one to buy but don’t know which one !

You can’t avoid them. If you’re going to get them, you’re going to get them. It’s genetic. It doesn’t matter what pricey cream or oil you use, it won’t prevent them.

My aunt used bio oil with her first and didn’t get stretch marks, she didn’t use it with her second and did get stretch marks, so that’s what I’m using

I have never had stretch marks, but I hear it’s genetics. I used Zoe organically belly butter my first pregnancy and this time I bought bio oil but I always forget to put it on. I also love a good sugar scrub in the shower to exfoliate my belly and boobs.

Ok; I get that people are saying they can’t be avoided which is partially true. However as someone with a lot of melanin I have noticed that my stretchmarks became less noticeable with bio oil & moisturizing. Now they are not as raised and dark. So making sure your skin is lubricated during the growth process & hydrating throughout your pregnancy really CAN help minimize the appearance. I feel like people who got them just say they can’t avoid them, but I dare say that A LOT of people who don’t get “ashy” don’t use lotion or oils frequently and dry skin will worsen stretch marks!

I used Palmers and a mother’s friend twice a day, sometimes 3x. I didn’t get a single stretch mark with my son.
My mom, aunt, and grandmother all got them pretty bad.
