Prior to having our daughter, we typically got back around $5k every year and then our first year claiming her, we got back about $7k.

I've always gotten between 5k and 5500 back, except this year i'm getting 4 k back. I started a job towards the end of last year and my income is much higher but I didn't think it would make that much of a difference since I was only there a couple of months last year

We got 9k last year for how much my husband made,  our marriage. And our two kids.  This year my husband made way more but we are getting less back.  Like 8400. But none of our state.

2017 we had our twins, my husband was the only one working and had a decent job and we got back around 10k. This year we didnt have a baby, claimed the kids as dependents, filed jointly, husband had a layoff for 6 months so was in and out of work and we are getting back around 8900.
