Advice ??

Hello ladies! So I have a history of an ectopic pregnancy. My periods have been irregular for the past 4-5 months ranging from 35-60 days. My LMP was 12/17/19. I’ve been testing like a mad woman and ended up getting a visible faint positive on 2/5/19. (I also had squinting positives before 2/5/19 since I was testing early)That same day I went to planned parenthood to take their test about 5 hours later and it ended up being negative. Finding it strange I tested again and come to find out I haven’t gotten a positive since 2/5/19. My question is should I go to the ER bc I don’t have insurance and I want at-least blood drawn or an ultrasound to help me just Incase I am having another ectopic. Would you go to the ER? Do you think will help me or would it be a waste of time? Thank you.

I’d ask for a blood draw from your OB’s office rather than the er unless you’re having pain or bleeding. I had a ruptured ectopic with full tube removal, and I had a clear bfp, so I suspect that you’d be very early along if it is a positive and therefore have some time to talk to your doctor rather than going to the er. Hopefully it’s just early and not an ectopic.

I just had an ectopic pregnancy and was at the ER, they need me to come back for more blood but said I don’t need to go through the ER, I can go to where blood is drawn. This is all at NYU hospital so not sure if you have this same type of set up but maybe check? I feel like it’s always better to have price of mind and get the test done.
