Who exclusively pumps ?

I’m currently breastfeeding my little man and eventually want to be able to give him a bottle every now and then but he’s just started being really fussy dosent want my boob sometimes I’ve got heaps of milk I think it might be too much for him it’s stressing me out and I’m too scared that if I introduce a bottle now he’ll never want my boob, is it hard to exclusively pump? I’m worried it will turn into formula feeding I really want to keep him on breastmilk, what are the pros and cons ?

My son got his first bottle at 2 weeks because we knew we had an outing when he was 4.5 weeks. Got a pacifier in the hospital when he was born. 
No issues here between all of that. 👍
But if you do decide to pump exclusively, it is a lot of work but certainly not impossible. SO many women do it. And so many support groups out there!

Thanks everyone so much I feel much better about trying a bottle now all the midwives really frown upon it and it made me stress about it

I have a lot of milk too and I found a nipple sheild has been good to help control the flow, perhaps give that a go? She really calms down when we use one. We also do one bottle a night, Ive heard nipple confusion is vastly overhyped and not so common. She will happily take the nipple at other times of the day so we certainly haven't found it to be an issue.

My son is 3 weeks and he takes the boob, bottle, & pacifier. He prefers the boob. I exclusively pumped with my first 2 years ago and it was hard because she wouldn’t latch and my milk supply only counted on the pump not a baby sucking but if you’re still going to have baby latch on it might be easier.

My LO is 2weeks and we breastfeed but give about 1 bottle a day. We started it in the last week or so because she will eat 3oz then still feed for another 15min on each side at times. The bottle gives me a chance to sleep for at least a little bit while my fiancée watches her
