Hi mommas, I’m having trouble reading other replies on other threads so I am posting my own. At 8 weeks 3 days I passed a large dark clot in toilet. Next day I had ultrasound and pelvic exam. Pelvic showed old blood but not the origin. My cervix was high and closed. The ultrasound showed strong heartbeat for baby and did not show bleeding in my uterus. I’ve continued to bleed daily; small amount on pad ranging from brown to dark red and the toilet always looks like I’m on my period. The day after my scan I went to l&d bc I thought I was miscarrying when I passed another huge clot in the toilet. Again there was a heart beat:a tad high but told that can be normal and cervix was closed. I’ve been bleeding for 6 days now which is nerve wracking! Haven’t miscarried to my knowledge and am not soaking a pad an hour which is what I was told is the sign I should heed for miscarriage. It feels like I’m on a lighter version of my period. Please, does anyone have this experience and what has been the outcome so far?
