How long does pregnly give false positive?

Question

Having positive test a week after trigger shot? Feeling like these might be false positives. I know I’m supposed to wait but who really does? 🙃 af due feb 20th. Anyone have experience with this? Please help.
Update: going to stop testing. These are the only positives I’ve had since my pregnancy with my 8 year old. Got a little ahead of myself 😢

With my first trigger I tested positive through day 11.  On my last several I had positives up until the day I started my period

I’m glad you chose to stop testing.  It kinda is a waste of time and money.  The docs say it can stay in your system for up to 14 days after you take it.  Honestly, I test the morning of my expected period.  Lord knows I don’t need any false hope.

It can take up to 14 days for trigger to be out of your system. Since you’re already testing and you’ve got lots of tests you could keep testing to see if the line goes away (and then hopefully comes back) or never goes away but does start to get darker. If the line comes back or gets darker then you’re pregnant!! Each person processes trigger differently, mostly it depends on the amount you used and your metabolism rate, people with lower rates take long for it to get out of their system. Make sure you use the same type and brand every day or repeating the test is a bit useless as they all respond differently and record different levels of hcg. Good luck!

My trigger lasted until the day before my period 🙄.. So 14 dpt. But everyone is different! And also it was easy to tell it was the trigger because it was so faint..
