Chemical or period?

So I ovulated exactly a week ago today and  randomly got my period today a week early !! This never happens to me usually my period it like clockwork. Just confused like is this a chemical pregnancy?? or actual period and why did it come early?

Are you sure you ovulated? Early bleeding can be a sign of an anovulatory cycle. I don’t think you would have enough time for any implantation or pregnancy to occur.
