Hcg levels

I just got my hcg results from last week. I was estimated 6 weeks on Wednesday and my level was 23,xxx and on Friday it was only 27,xxx. Definitely not doubling. I’m waiting for a call from my doctor but I’m guessing I should be expecting the worst?

Edit: the doctor called and basically said the number rise wasn’t significant to tell him either way whether I was going to miscarry or not. I’ll be going in for another US next week where I’ll hopefully be 8 weeks
