Is anyone else getting sick of everyone else’s opinions about how your labor and birth process will go? I feel like everyone has been sharing their opinions of how it’s going to be for me. I’m sick of hearing “If you’re not already dilating by this point you won’t dilate on your own” or “You’re so tiny you’re going to have to have a c section” or “your baby is probably going to be huge so you’ll need a c section”. Let me just say, dilation before labor means nothing, just because you’re built small doesn’t mean you can’t have a vaginal birth, there is nothing wrong with having a c section, and we have no idea how big the baby is so anything could happen. I’m just getting so annoyed. It’s like they’re trying to take control over what my body is going to do. If it was the OB it’s another story, but it’s just family members. What opinions are you getting sick of that you need to vent about?
