When should i get my period?

When should i get my period after a miscarriage baby passed away on 12/28. Then finally miscarried on 01/08 then on 01/09 i had a d&c and the doctor said it should either start on the 9th or around the 9th? Whem do u think i should start?

I’m sorry for your loss!! Mine took almost 6 weeks after D&C from MMC at 15 weeks. I think it will come back closer to 4 weeks if it was a early miscarriage or later it was late term.
