So I’m going to Hawaii for my brother’s wedding at the end of February, and I’ve been absolutely dreading wearing a bathing suit.... I’ve always hated one pieces, because they remind me of my leotard days growing up (I did gymnastics), and it just feels blah to me. I wanted something that could feel sexy, but also suitable for hiking/waterfall climbing! I have been staring at suits for weeks, and tried countless on. All I can see is my mom pouch, and not so tight skin, and I always put the suit back. I finally sucked it up, and reminded myself that I NEVER want my daughters to feel badly about their body for such silly reasons, and bought one without even trying it on (in hopes that trying it on at home would convince me to keep it). Guys!!! I LOVE IT!

Please ignore the mess...we’ve been without power due to a major ice storm, so I was packing in a freezing, dark house with a toddler and 6 month old, and just got back (with power!!!!) yesterday! I’m only half way through cleaning!
