Spotting like a Rorschach test

Has this happened to anyone before and what did you find out about it?

3 days after my period was due, I started spotting and I'm thinking, "Could this be the elusive Implantation bleeding?!" so late in the month?

But the spotting just went on and on, looking like nothing more than a napkin after wiping off a chocolate milk mustache. After a week of that, I'm now getting streaks of red, like the wrapping of a red velvet cupcake--not enough to warrant a real pad, just 10 panty liners a day.

My theories are A. I might have had a chemical pregnancy last month and the wall paper of my internal nursery is slowly peeling off, B. One ovary is nearing retirement as I make my way slowly to menopause (35yo).... Or C. What do you think is happening?! What does it all mean??
