Bloody show? tMI

Hi all!

I’m 40+2 weeks today, had an appointment at my ob and he checked by vaginal exam baby’s head engagement 3/5 and he said cervix is soft but still closed, had what I thought might have been mucous plug yesterday first pic then some bloody discharge this afternoon next two pics not sure if it’s the start of bloody show or from today’s vaginal exam, however I had vaginal exam the last two weeks as well and nothing of the kind afterwards.

Thanks mummas! I’m really hoping for a vaginal delivery but so far been offered an elective c section as baby hasn’t fully engaged 🤞🏼
