Headaches!!!???

Every morning i wake up w a headache, is this normal? i read that headaches occur in the 2nd trimester but it’s every. single. morning...

You can also take excedrine tension in place of Tylenol. My doctor said it is safe to use because it is just acetaminophen with caffeine and it works. I get weekly and sometimes daily migraines so this is the only thing that has helped me. Also if you can lay down use a cold cloth on you head and neck.

Ugh I’m not the only one!! Mine happen in the afternoon. They were frequent and now they are! They feel like tension headaches!

I'm 17w1d and yesterday woke up with the worst headache. I tried Tylenol, taking a warm shower and bath, tried to just "sleep it off" nothing really worked. Then today I woke up and the headache was still there! :( I finally caved and had a Pepsi which helped for a couple hours but its now about 4pm and I can feel the headache creeping back up. No fun!

I have horrible headaches also! I had preeclampsia with my son, but I talked to my dr about them and she said in the second trimester your body is moving a lot of blood. So the blood vessels in uour head are opening up and a rush of blood is flowing and that can cause the headaches. My blood pressure drops really low making me dizzy and lightheaded with them! As long as your BP is fine and not high just taking tylonal and stuff or putting a ice pack on your forehead

Are you sleeping on your back? They say to sleep on your side yo increase blood flow and it also reduces the chance of getting headaches. I know once I learned that I haven't been getting them.

I have them too, but I’m prone to headaches even before pregnancy. Just make sure you’re drinking enough fluids & have a little caffeine too... I take 2-regular strength Tylenol which usually doesn’t work but during my pregnancy it luckily has been! If you have enough energy I would even try to muscle through the pain and try some exercising it may help you too. Hope you feel better soon! Headaches are the worse 😣
