I don't know what im doing

I started dating this guy a month and a half ago but we're not official yet. I'm worried he's loosing interest. Its been mostly me making plans and inviting him lately. He's never been a good texter but I feel kinda like he doesn't wanna text me. He goes away for 3 weeks next week. We're for sure doing something with some friends Sunday and possibly alone the 15th, which I guess was kind of his idea. But I'm not sure if I should talk to him about how I'm feeling before he goes away, or if we should make concrete plans for when he gets back? Basically I'm just asking for advice on the situation lol. I don't know what I'm doing :p
