Who comes first

Who should come first in this scenario..
You have the opportunity to get a  guaranteed promotion, that comes with a very large bonus and pay raise. You have great health insurance with no copays or cash deductibles. You have a beautiful home, new(ish) vehicles, a very happy family, everything a person can ask for in life. You love your job except for one of your bosses. This boss has belittled you for the last 6 months,blamed you for things you had no part in. however this boss is leaving for a new guaranteed job in 1-2 months due to retiring and you will never have to deal with them again. Would you put your family first and accept this promotion and put up with 1-2 more months of this boss(you can’t get fired during this time by anyone) or would you put yourself first and quit your job and hope to find something better. Be mindful you have no degree, certification, trade, prior experience, etc. to fall back on if you do quit. 
Bonus* is it selfish if you choose to quit? Is your spouse selfish for wanting you to stay?

If you've already been dealing with such a horrible boss, one or two more months isn't going to make much of a difference. If you've been offered a promotion despite this boss' shifting blame and such then they obviously don't have quite the impact that they think they do.
Is it worth risking your livelihood and career in the long run just for a month or two?

In my opinion, there’s not much to contemplate. Your boss is leaving anyway. Why sacrifice anything or anyone at all when you can just troop it out another month or two??  Do you know how many people are struggling to find a job...let alone a good one like you have. 🤦🏻‍♀️ You kind of sound spoiled.

In that scenario no one comes first. If you’re married you are a TEAM! Discuss it with your spouse. It’s ok to be selfish in a marriage(its needed sometimes!) but when it comes to big things like this you can’t make the choice alone. Talk with your spouse and figure out what is the best choice for your family

If someone wants to leave their job in this scenario I think it's pretty obvious that the boss is not the only reason to leave. It seems like some information is missing.

In a regular job yes, family should come first. If you’re the same person from yesterday who’s upset over your husband wanting to quit the military after everything he’s been through because you want the benefits and don’t actually care about him or his situation, I’m still siding with your husband.

It's only a month or two left. If you quit now you would be punishing yourself. Why quit when you love your job and have put so much into it? And you're getting a promotion that you want and have worked for?  I don't get it.
You've put up with him for this long, what's a bit longer? He wins if you quit.
I am wondering why this is a question. Is there something else going on in your life that makes you want to quit your job?  Is it maybe hormones rearing up?

I’ll stay money is money plus 1/2 months ain’t really nothing to me. Also if no one could fire me I would speak up and tell them something.

I never a believer in quitting a job till another one is lined up. Especially if you have responsibilities.
