Hi ladies I’m currently 29 weeks pregnant and on Friday I went to L&D due to not feeling my baby girl kick as much. They hooked me up and thankfully she was healthy and active as can be however they noticed some contractions on the monitor that I wasn’t feeling. I heard the word “contractions” and started bawling my eyes as I’m still very early! The nurses not dr on site seemed concerned at all. I emailed my dr today to ask him if I should be concerned about the contractions they picked up on the monitor. They checked cervix length and it was 4.1cm long with no funneling and my cervix was completely closed. Has anyone gone through this? If so what was the outcome? I’m just worried as preterm labor terrifies me!
