Baby necessities?

I’ve looked at lists and they seem like have things you don’t necessarily need. What were some things that got you through the newborn stage? How many onesies, etc did you need?
Also, is a 4 in 1 convertible crib that’s $600 worth it?

For when they are a few months old....To take a shower, the baby rocker chair was a must. Bibs!

you don't need name brand. just do some research and look at reviews for lesser known. 
I can not believe the price of things it's insane. some of these swings and bassinets are crazy money. 
my Walmart bassinet was $50 and it worked amazing.

Yeah I’d say the convertible crib for $600 is unnecessary and expensive. I got a convertible crib but it was only $179 on sale. It also had a changing table attached which I really thought i would use. But it turns out changing a baby on the floor is so much easier

I’m still learning about necessities too, but you definitely don’t need a $600 crib. Our 4-in-1 is $200
