Tobacco products becoming illegal.

I thought I’d bring a debate I came across online, to CC, which is based on this quote:

“Cigarettes are the only legal consumer product that, when used as intended, will kill half of all long-term users.” - FDA

A lot of people are questioning why they are legal if they have no health benefits, and have been proven to harm/kill the consumer as well as others around them.

On the other side, people are saying that there will be a massive black market, so not much of a change will happen, also, people working in the tobacco industry will be out of a job.

Poll question: Do you feel that Cigarettes and related tobacco/nicotine products should be illegal to sell, consume or possess?

(Exceptions being, only allowed on private land, and not in public)

I’m interested to hear from both smokers and non-smokers. 🤷🏾‍♀️
