What to expect at first appointment

Question

I'm autistic and newly pregnant with my first baby. Our first appointments with the doctor and midwife are coming up in a couple weeks. 
Sadly, I don't have any family I can reach out to with questions or help with "social stories." Would anyone be willing to share their experiences with first appointments? I have /some/ idea of what to expect from books, but with anything new, I always find it helpful to hear about others' actual experiences, too :)

I’m sorry it might be a bit late for my reply. I hope your first appointments went well already.
I found your post while trying to find out if there are other women on the spectrum expecting babies and how they are living through the experience.
I’m 24 weeks pregnant and for me the appointments were all very emotional. I found my heart racing looking at the ultrasound live images, and impressed with the modern technology. 
I have a needle phobia so the thing that stresses me the most are many blood tests that need to be done regularly, so I try to regroup them. 
If you are data driven, make sure you ask for all the numbers for your baby and how do they compare to the “average”.
If you have some specific questions, please ask! I would be happy to help and also hopefully find some expecting mothers with ASD who are ahead of me for support (I’m specifically concerned about how to deal with any planned or emergency procedures I have phobias about...)

They will ask you about your family’s history, they will weigh you and find out your height, they will do vaginal exam, test for sexually transmitted diseases, make you pee In a cup, blood work, and give you an estimated due date, and just ask you questions.
