15 week scan

I had a scan on 15 weeks and the doctor told me that the baby nose was not as developed as they would like it to be ..theh were suspecting of down syndrome and others .they took my consent and performed An amniocentesis straight away . I was so worried so I went along with it . They said it might take a week or so for the results but I am so worried sick now . It’s my first baby ..has anyone had any sort of similar thing happened before ? Please let me know . And I am in intense cramping pain after amniocentesis 😭😭😭
