Nervous - please tell me im dumb

I'm getting my first tattoo at 31 and I'm putting all these intrusive thoughts in my head like "it'll get infected because everything always happens to you" and "right on your spine? You'll end up paralyzed FoR sURe". Are there risks to getting your spine tattooed? I'm getting all black ink. I know my husband will be on top of cleaning this for me, and general maintenance, he took really great care of his.
