He looked Heartbroken

So I decided to do something extra special to surprise my husband for Valentine’s Day ! Something cheap yet romantic... so I decided to build a fort! Let me tell you all it was so hard I spent the night before working so hard it kept falling I almost gave up 🤬

Well I didn’t , I kept trying and it finally worked . I set fake candles up leading down to the basement and had cute white lights . It looked adorable !!! Anyways I was so excited about it ! He got home read his card that told him to go to the basement (lol sounds creepy) anyways he walked down had the biggest smile on his face and was like what’s this ? He was like awe and loved it . We got back upstairs and he opened his two small gifts then he just looked slightly disappointed .

I was like what’s wrong ? He said he thought the grand entrance was leading to me telling him I was finally pregnant . Y’all I wanted to cry right then and there ! That’s all he wAnted for Valentine’s Day... ugh me too it’s been a long 15 months. But unfortunately it was just a cute fort to snuggle and watch a movie. I feel so guilty I just want to be able to give us a baby already. Anyways we had a wonderful night and snuggles and just enjoyed each other. Unfortunately the dog did shit on the floor during the movie and kinda killed the mood.

Anyways fast forward to this morning and I wake up temp and go potty to find out aunt flow arrived a day early. I was devastated . On to month 16 I guess. Here are some pictures of my homemade fort 🤣 don’t mind my step sons toys all over the basement !
