If you have to ask him after 2 years if he loves you does he? He shows it and his friends say he does but he has never said it. Mind you he is not a very affectionate man but spends all his time with you.

Everyone has different love languages, talk to him if you aren’t feeling fulfilled in what you need and see if there can be a change or compromise.

Ask him if he does. I was with my ex for 2yrs and he never said he loved me. I asked him one day and he told me he was trying to, but didn’t think it would ever happen. I was 20 and he was 25 when we broke up.  It was both of ours first relationship so I let a lot of things slide. 
If he hasn’t said it yet, maybe you should ask him. Have you said it to him?
